Plumbing Service Manager
We are now seeking to hire a residential service manager. Applicants should have at least 5 years of actual experience servicing residential plumbing, well pumps and water treatment systems. Your job will be to direct our service department and will include the following duties and more:
- Lead and coach assigned co-workers. Provide sufficient knowledge, skills, training, and information to achieve peak performance, continuous improvement, and a positive, productive work environment consistent with company goals and objectives.
- Achieve quarterly Service Department sales and profitability goals as specified in the annual budget.
- Review all warranty invoicing. Ensure that all warranty issues are handled properly and in a timely manner.
- Create and/or manage service inventory policies and pricing to achieve company goals.
- Propose, maintain, review, and administer the Service Technician Compensation Plan.
- Conduct periodic “ride alongs” to ensure proper procedures, techniques, and maximize customer service.

Dispatcher
Rapidan Plumbing is seeking to hire a dispatcher for our fast-paced service and installation departments. This is an extremely important position that requires a smart and creative leader to increase the productivity of our field staff and increase the satisfaction of our customers.

- typing ability (60 wpm)
This position is not for the faint of heart! It’s a challenging position that has a direct impact on our success. You have to be the type who “wants the ball in crunch time.”
The ideal candidate will have dispatching experience with a plumbing company and be familiar with the local geographic area, though we’ll consider all applicants. Other trade experience is a plus.
